          The headline makes you think it was in town. Mineral Wells isn't exactly just west of Fort Worth.
          It's like saying Llano is just west of Georgetown. There's a hell of a difference between the big city of Georgetown and the countryside of Llano.

                                If the weight of tom is correct, that is the largest lion ever taken in Texas. The previous record was a lion killed by Andy Smith on the Pecos SE of Sheffield. I am wondering if the 200 pound cat ever saw a scale?????
