San Angelo State Park is a great place to find a photograph Horny Toads. They are everywhere out there.

just some info I've picked up over the years.... the ones in texas specifically east texas are endangered... I believe they are bigger and darker in color...(from my 30 yr memory bank) my grandmother lived south of dallas and would catch them with me... since then iv'e wondered where they went... well as it turns out the fire ant invasion ate their eggs. I took my kid to a reptile show in Pasadena this summer and noticed they had some from Arizona for sale..was good to see them even if they were smaller..great pics thanks for sharing...lots of good memories catching those guys
