    Cattle ear tags for dogs

Anybody use the insecticide ear tags for their dogs to control ticks?

I've never seen a dog with an ear tag

I’ve been using them for past few years and have had great success by doing it. I also have several buddies that do it also with the same success. Just take and carefully cut 2 slits in the tag and run collar through it.

I used them in the past. Now I just use the new pour on stuff every few months.

Purple Python Ear Tags. I use these on my beagles. I don't recommend using a whole tag.

Pack of 20 at Tractor Supply is $33.99. I store them in a zip lock in my garage refrigerator.

Here's a Youtube video. This is how I do it.

Do these work better than a plain ole flea/tick collar?
