Family Vacation 2019

Well, time has come for our annual family vacation. Headed to Destin for 7 days. Going to be leaving tonight about midnight and gonna foot pedal it the entire way.

Started off with a surprise movie with the wife and kids seeing The Lion King. Hope to get on some kings (renting a yak), pompano, and others while at the beach. Not going to let this bacteria scare get into the way..

When I went a few years back we were in Navarre, not far from Destin, kings were easy to come by in a kayak.

Just spent a week in the keys (Islamorada) and absolutely loved it. We drove to Key West for a few hours and went back to Islamorada.

Family Vacation 2019

Headed another direction from Grayson County in the morning. Leaving out for Jackson, Wy. at 5am. Got some Kayaking planned next week too.

We went July 8th week & were impacted a little by the tropical system. Traffic can get thick & parking and wait times at restaurants can be a challenge so plan accordingly on evening meals if you are venturing out to eat. Also, hit up Shakes custard place for desert

Enjoy. We didn’t go this year because family wanted a cruise. It’s a great place
