            I just did, and all I saw was the walls of my living room.

                    They're all great.
                    I chuckle to myself when I see a big deer on a piece of land that I didn't pay for

                      The best experience we had was at Mason Mountain.

                        H = hagerman I would guess.

                        Limbwalker, this seems like an odd post for you, since you do plenty of killing at the same and davey.

                        I like open, since I still have not yet been drawn.

                          Hagerman is pretty well known. Too far for me to go for a whitetail though. If I'm going to go that far, I'll keep on driving to some place in S. Illinois where I used to hunt.

                          I'm not sure about "plenty," but yea, I've been successful at both Somerville and the Sam (when I can get a doe permit). Just thinking of a little more of an "adventure" hunt in-state, to see some new ground.

                          Not necessarily even whitetails, but it could be in the right place.

                          I'm thinking this year I'm going to spike camp in one of the FS wilderness areas and hunt that way. That's how I grew up hunting. Walking out of a small camp (with a tent, on the ground) in the morning to my stand. I miss that.

                              Biggest deer I have seen in Texas are at the H, RC, and the Chap.
