A description of what Im hunting. A ridge runs N and S, on the W side of the ridge it is a half circle shape, a draw, drain, crease what ever you want to call it, drains to the SW to a creek bottom. It is a travel route for deer. Up on this end it is a bedding area. Tracks, droppings, scrapes, rubs are everywhere. There is a knob to the W of the drain, I am on the knob looking into the draw. Update at 9

Live hunt#2 Newton County

Bucks are definitely on the move down the road. Hitting feeders occasionally and new deer starting to show with regulars gone.

Nothing here, but a fellow lease member just saw a 130" 8pt. Deer are moving Update at 10

Turning overcast, may stay one more hour. No deer. Still nice to be in the woods

Well, still no deer. Probably gonna climb down and call it a hunt

I hunted Newton Monday and watched a young six point before the hogs showed up. I shot 4 then headed to the skinning rack and saw 5 more deer on the way to the skinning rack. 2 bucks and 3 doe. Seems like around 9 to 930ish they were on their feet.
