pvc bowfishing bow help??

ive been trying to make a bowfishing bow out of pvc, but keep failing on Design and string build. What types of designs do yall use to get enough power to kill a fish and where do you get or buy your strings. is there videos you watched and followed or articles? any help is appreciated

I too failed miserably, a map torch wasn't the answer to hear the PVC to shape it. And a 1.25" is way too stiff to bend without shaping.

The PSE bow costs $140 with reel and arrow, I gave up on experimenting.
