I'm in......need to lose 25....what are the the rules? I think a percentage of weight loss should be the standard rather than absolute weight.

When I ran this before, it was based on percentage lost and required a weekly weigh in with a picture. It was a long term completion going from January through June (6 months).

Last time I participated on here, it was by percentage. I think it was $20/person, if you lost a certain percentage you automatically got some money back. The higher percentage losers got back more money.

I go Wednesday morning for blood work. Doc was telling me the numbers were not right and I most likely was diabetic. She wanted to wait 3 months and then redo blood work.

Iím in one the competition. Need to loose about 75# according to the doc. Bumping 325 Now and know that I have a long road ahead of me.

I'm in. My fat *** is at 340 and I need to dump a few of those. Like to get to 250 by this time in 2018. I've been restricted on exercise for the past three years and the Dr. gave me the go-ahead to hit up some cardio and light weight lifting again. 90 pounds is the goal for 12 months...7.5 pounds per month or better. I can do this!

I’m in. Sitting at 250 right now and would like to be at 190. I seem to lose 25 or so for the last few summers. Just never finish the job and return to this weight at the end of every hunting/holiday season. I’m pretty intent on making it stick this year. Let me know how you guys want to hold each other accountable.

IN!!! I had foot surgery recently and gained back 22lbs of the 32lbs I had lost. Want to get to 170lbs by June. I will not be able to jog until Feb 1st more than likely. My plan is to begin eating healthy with small portions. Good luck to everyone.

Previously, I set up a separate website for this competition and only those who were participants could access through the use of a password. I would not want people to have to post their weights here on TBH. If it's a competition, then each person would pay a nominal entry fee (probably $20) and the pot would be part of the winnings, along with any items that are donated.

The way we did this before was that each person would take a beginning picture of their scale, with a sheet of paper showing the date and a key word. Then, each week the competitors would take another pic of the scale with them on it and a paper with the date and a new key word.

At the end, the person with the highest percentage lost would win. We might have secondary prizes for most weight lost, etc.

This is open to men and women, so if your spouse wants in, that's fine too.

I'm just gauging interest at this point.

I lost 49lbs guys June thru September. Going back on low carb in January. I put 8 lbs back on over the holidays and deer camp food. Goal is 12-15 lbs more lbs. I want to hit 188 and would be really excited to hit 185 but that might be too light. Good luck to you all!

I know it be hard to get an accurate number. But what about bf%. As someone who plans to lift while dieting, my hope would be that I would add lean muscle mass as well as losing fat. So just going by the scale number would not reflect the fat loss and then replaced with muscle.

I'm not sure we could get accurate enough numbers for that. I'll look into it and see how it works.
