Default Christmas morning buck fight...
Went to sit in a blind this morning to watch wildlife on Christmas morning. Nice and cold with low around 34 and breezy. Deer were moving well all morning. Secondary rut has kicked in the past few days and with the amount of bucks around right now the bucks still have an attitude. This is the 3rd skirmish I have seen this week and taken a few pics of. This one was short and I was facing the sun so the pics are not the best. These are two younger bucks but it still made for a few good pics. In a series of pics you can see the young 10pt on the left's G3 right below the left eye socket on the other buck on the right. I missed the first few seconds of the short fight due to moving camera and adjusting settings on it when they caught me by surprise.

Thanks how exciteing for you to film and bucks to fight.. I have only seen in reallife a real fight at several hundred y...a hand full of times

Great pics! I've never seen a fight in person but have heard several. Caught four different fights on trail cams this year.

Those pics are with a Canon 7D and Canon 500mm 4.0 IS lens. I have to use a tripod with this setup. They were probably about 70-75 yards away.
