30 minutes from being done with round 2 venison chili, and yes.....there are kidney beans in it. Have 3 kids so this beefs up the amount more.

Picture to follow.

I ordered a load a couple days ago. First timer - but took the plunge based on all the good reviews on here & the fact Blake sent me his famous gumbo recipe. Made a batch of gumbo a few weeks ago and it was fantastic!

the ZZ bloody Mary mix adds more bold flavor, not "heat" or spicy

add serranos or japs if you want it "hot"

Is the ZZ used instead of tomato sauce? I was planning to use Rotel, tomato sauce and ZZ. How much of each should I use per pack with 2 lbs of meat?

Best chili ever! I tend to mix fresh beef and venison to get the favor we like. And, just last night I used a couple of the fajita packets on some beef from a stock show steer we purchased earlier this year. Just about makes your head spin good :-)!

Recently ordered his boudin mix and can't wait to give it a whirl again. It has been about 5 years since we made some but I remember it being great.

do you have the recipe / directions ?

I personally don't use tomato sauce .... add 2-3 cups of ZZ after you brown the meat , cook down the vegetables, and add the packet of seasoning. Then add chicken of beef stock to get the desired consistency

PM me with any Q's as I'll walk you thru it

The fajita seasoning at the cookout may have received more accolades than the chili, but there were no complaints (or leftovers) about either. Now the Presto Air Corn Popper may complain some, a generous serving of butter and Ragin Blaze seasoning has kept the popper plugged in a bunch lately with the holiday visits

I made a pot of chilli yesterday, and even my sometimes ‘selective’ 14yo ate every last drop. I chopped up an orange bell pepper and some shallots (was out of yellow onion) and it was delicious! I know it will be even better today. The Zing Zang was a great sub for the tomato sauce.

You people ordering 1-2 chili mix need to quit clowning around.... Get back on the 'puter and order 10-15 packs.

It's that good.
