After several attempts at posting this myself I had to call for tech support.....my 13 year old son. LOVE YOU BUDDY. Jeez I still hate computers. Well it was not a great season for me at all with all the family activities and travels I did not get a lot of hunting in. Saturday and Sunday was my best outing. I managed to knock down this nice doe on Saturday evening and this little button jake on Sunday evening. I have been after a turkey for some time so this guy just did not have a chance as he was the first one to clear my shooting lane. I hope to make it out at least one more time for another doe or two. Congrats to all on some fine shooting this season.

Was able to go set this morning and enjoy a few hours in the woods. Had a group of hogs showing up every morning around 9:30 and this morning was no different. Had the video camera rolling and got the hunt on film. Good day with the Bob Lee 58” 52#, Gold Tip 400s with 135 grain Zwickey Eskilites. 12 yard shot 70 yard recovery.

On the board...and tagged out! I had just sat down and was thinking about calling it an evening when a group of 5 does snuck in on me really quick. I didnít even have a chance to stand back up and had to take an awkward sitting/leaning forward shot at this big doe less than 10 yards from me from my ladder stand that is 17í high to my feet.
It was in the upper 20s so I was wearing 4 layers of clothes which didnít make the close shot any easier but it worked out. Saw her fall in sight about 75 yards away.
