Similiar situation last year in Mason. Quiet evening hunt when all of the sudden a lizard comes running through across my boots and it feels like someone punches my blind. I know immediately what is happening, am standing on my stool in 1/2 second and feverishly stabbing holes through my blind with my arrow trying to keep him from coming in. I got lucky, it wasn't a rattler (didn't know that when i was mutilating my blind as we have seen a ton of them at this particular ranch) and it didn't make it in. Then I thought, my 14 yr old is down the road in a ground blind... hunt ended, pop ups taken up and tripods the rest of the weekend. NEVER again unless I sew a bottom on it. I can't imagine what you were feeling. I was shaking from head to toe.

OH CHIT!!!! Hunt would have been over and I would have had to go back to camp to change my underroos.
