Nice buck! There are better deer around here than we get credit for. My buddy's son shot a 10-point on youth weekend that went 149 outside of sour lake. Congrats on the buck!

I grew up hunting the Hill Country and West Texas, until I really started hunting down here I never had a chance at a "Trophy" deer. It really amazes me the type of deer not only this area can produce but any area if the deer are left to get to maturity. I have now been fortunate enough to have killed 3 P&Y deer down here in the past 4 years. These deer mean more than any of the other big deer that I have been able to shoot down in SW Texas on friends places.
