    Bow from scrap

I recently put a compound bow together out fo some xtra parts I had laying around my shop. The riser is a pre bowtech Diamond hornet that I bought of of ebay. The limbs are some from the compound line that I designed a few years back. The cam and idler wheel is from a guy out of LA.named Greg Marshal. I hope y'all find this interesting. THe bow shoots very well and I have killed one hog with it but did not get any pics . Guess I'll have to kill another one huh?

It is actually quite smooth. It has a short valley and a nice hard wall with very little creep. I shot a hog with it already but it was a small one. I am shooting the Axis FMJ through it right now. THe arrow is a little on the heavy side but when it sinks to the fletching in the foam, that is hard to beat!!

I believe I measured it at 31 inches. I have not chronoed it yet but withthe heavey arrows, and around 60 pounds, I would guess around 250-260 maybe somewhere in there. I plan on going to Gander Mountain on my next days off and shoot through the chrono. I was gonna take it apart(since I have like 10 bows) but it really shoots nice; and the more I shoot it, the more I like it.
