So I was rocking out to the Rod Ryan show 945 this morning and they start talking about a smoked watermelon.
I think I need to try throwing one on the smoker this weekend.
I am thinking start with a room temp whole seedless watermelon
Trim the rind off
pat dry
plain Salt and pepper rub, it is Texas after all...
Smoke at a lower temp....
I dont think it needs a cold smoker, but I will make sure to have a big drip pan incase it melts.
What do you guys think?
