    my boat trailer hasn't had valid tags since the year after i bought it in 2006.

      I'd just drive with it and not worry about it. A lot of police officers are fisherman/outdoorsman anyways.

            Drive it and forget about it. I drove my camper back and forth to my lease for 4 years with out of date tags. Pick a route that has little traffic.

              I decided to just hook up and go. Did it today, no issues whatsoever. Worked out just fine this time. Someday maybe it won’t but I guess I’m living well enough. Thanks for all the input guys.

                The issue with the truck thread is driving an uninsured vehicle. I have had a utility trailer since 2010 ish that has never had a tag on it. I have had one ticket in that time period, sometimes pulling it daily. For a single trip with a trailer, I’d just do it.
