It sure is nice being the top dog again after a long drought. The Rangers will be a team to reckon with by mid-end of August. This 'Stros team is playing baseball the way it's supposed to be played. Fun, contributory (not one Astro is hitting .300 before this game) and good pitching. I hope the peaks are longer than the valleys

That is out of a possible 120 division winners over that time period.

Those teams were the 2015 Cubs, 2004 Red Sox, 1999 Reds, and 1997 Yankees.

So, 3.3% of 96-game winners didn't win their division.

You are really going out on a limb with that prediction.

By the way - masterful job by Hinch to pull Keuchel after only 5 innings and 70 pitches with an 8 run lead.

Save wear and tear on your horses. It's a long season.

With a 28-12 record, I think Hinch may be getting the hang of this managing thing.
