Default Team Kid Food

So I know that since I took over heading up this team (this will be the third year), we have traditionally done PB&J sandwiches, grilled cheese sandwiches, hot dogs, chips, pickles, and snack type stuff.

I hate to keep spreading all of us thin since we take this team under the Chicken Wang/Desserts/Fajita umbrella. What are everyone's thoughts on narrowing this down to hot dogs, chips, pickles and snack type stuff? With everything else that is around, especially adding the fajitas this year, I think there will be plenty if we keep some basic kiddish things.

Thoughts?

I would just go with whatever was most popular.

PB&J and grilled cheese seemed to be the biggest hit if I recall from several years ago.

We will have 2 big grills going so putting a griddle on and burning grilled cheese should not be a problem.

I will have a generator to run an electric griddle if needed.

I'm in agreement that this could be narrowed down. Sounds like Todd needs his own PB&J but I think hot dogs are easier and can almost be prep once and self serve for a while too.

Maybe we should ban sandwiches as our own Women's March!

Jenn,
You are heading this (and we really appreciate you for it), so you take charge. Considering this team is a huge multi-tasker, I would keep is as simple as you can.

I am quite sure whatever you choose to serve, there will be no one that goes hungry that day.

Thanks for the input y'all!

I'm gonna say lets do hot dogs, grilled cheese, chips, pickles, and some kiddo drinks. I'll gather and post a lost when I get home from work tonight...

And Brandon, I'll take her!

Help a GOF today and edit the list.

Hogboy and Syl are in for ketchup and mustard. Do you think a couple of bottles of each should do?

How many tongs? 3-4 sets?

I have in my notes from last year to add based on a request from the girls working the tables of ..... ice and cups for kids Koolaid.

I am assuming since its not listed. Koolaid is not being served this year? Or Maybe Mike "Texas Grown" did that on his own for TKF?

I don't think my 5 gallon cooler got used last year. But it will be available for use if yall want me to bring it. I think the big container of Gator-Aid mix never got broke into either. Think it got donated to a retirement home after Bownanza.

Mikey, I'm
not sure why it didn't happen... I know somebody last year that was working the team said they wished they had it because it's in my notes. I guess they didn't see it.

but let's confirm with Jenn whether she wants a beverage there for them. Maybe she'll see this.
