how would one procure said tag?

The NM game and fish puts out a list of available OTC tags a short time after the draw results are released. A freind of mine filled a cow tag with an OTC permiet last season.
Keep an eye on the NM game and fish site starting in june.

I'll be chasing Elk this year because, I have a landowner tag waitting on me!!! Unit 46

I also have landowner tags avaiable.

Hope ya'll got your applications turned in becuase the deadline was the 9th.

Unforetunately becasue of my new position at work I wont make it out to NM to elk hunt this year.

You know some people around TBH just might have access to a hand full of private landowner tags It's definitely not cheap ($6,000. but the elk are there)
