Dallas Traffic

I have to drive right up 45 through Dallas Friday and it looks like I will probably hit the I-20/I-45 area right about 6:30AM. How bad is traffic going to be from there until I get North of Dallas on 75?

It’ll probably be moving good until you hit I-30 before it slows. I drive north through Dallas on 75 up to 635 area at around 545-6am and it moves good around 60mph

This ^^. 6:30 - 8:30 is a nightmare. If you could hit 45/20 right at 6, you should be able to slip through, pretty much unscathed. I sit on Jobsites for an hr or more sometimes, just to avoid traffic. I personally like to be hitting it around 5:45. Traffic will ruin my entire day, so I plan accordingly

Yeah 6:30 is a bad time. It sounds plenty early. But anything after 6 can get ugly fast.

Stay on 75. 635 W will be a nightmare past Garland.
