went to academy this weekend. they didnt have the newer colors like color x or red flash. i guess i'll hit up a tackle store. i have some dirty tequila, red wine and some plum chartreuse. just looking for maybe a 4th color to keep in my wade box. dont like taking a ton of colors.

I use them with clients.
I prefer dark ones early and go lighter as the day develops.
Always with a chartruse paddle tail.

not scented like fishy smell, but he does put sort of a grape smell on them. smell like grape kool-aide.

You must have a good nose on you. Any idea on why grape?
I have friends that love throwing them.

No sir, no idea why grape. Smells pretty good though. Dont know if it brings fish or not, but at least the bag isnt stinky or get gulp stink on your fingers. haha

I'd highly recommend a bone diamond or pearl/chartreuse for a good light color to add. Most of the time I dip the bone diamond tails to chartreuse... Around the Texas coast, it doesn't seem to matter that much, but at the Chandeleur's that chartreuse tail has proven time and time again on just about anything (even Corky's, ) to work better.
