I want to build a rock wall as a skirt around my archery shop / feed room. I have left over rock from when we built our house six years ago so the skirt will match the house.

The problem is... I have no idea where to start or how to plan it. What is the best base to use? How do I or should I top it?

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

First things first......Do you have a brick ledge around the outside perimeter?

No, it is a portable building, hence the skirt.
