A little something to keep you warm while you’re sitting in that cold tree.

        Off to a good start.
As im typing this, I'm watching a yearling feed on acorns under my stand.
Had a doe come in and feed when a little nubbin popped out of the cedars with his ears back and tried to square up with her.
Bad idea! She just ran him into the next county.
Had an 8 point come down the fence line behind me grunting and traveling. He has a decent right side with good Mass but his left side is not impressive. We have several pics of him so he was not hard to identify.

Clark has several does feeding around him. And had a small 8 chasing a doe across the hay field at daylight.

Wind is starting to pick up now. And the sun is peaking over the trees.

              Doe & yearling just left.
Have had deer here since daylight.

This set is our favorite on the property. It's on the south side of our property. A 5 acre field with a big track of timber to the East. A creek bottom to the West and a cut corn field to our South. There is a big pond with thick cover and bedding area to North.

Clark has a couple of young bucks harrasing a doe.

I just had 2 does and a yearling pass thru to my South.

Got a hand full of squirrels making it rain acorns.

Looks like deer are heading to bed down. Just had a small buck come work a scrape and went to same bedding area as the doe & yearling. Click image for larger version

It sure feels like something is going to hit the tailgate this week. Keep at it.

Movement has slowed down for me. Clark is still seeing deer. He has 2 young bucks feeding on acorns.

Cell cams at our other sets are showing mid day movement also.
