Default Wallet Destroying Credit Cards?

I am looking at getting a new wallet right now as mine is wore out. My problem is that I am constantly wearing out my debit and credit cards. What wallet do you guys use to prevent this or what other things can I do?

Wearing out the magnetic strips or cracking them?

I try and avoid sitting on my wallet whenever possible, driving, sitting at my desk, etc.

My card on card was what my problem was- when I changed places and have the strip on leather I haven’t had anymore issues.

Your smart phone (magnetometer) will do more damage to them than simply sitting on them.

Not sure exactly what style you are looking for, but I made the switch to a money clip type wallet and I have been very happy with this: https://shop.celticshield.com
Veteran owned and operated, been in pocket for several years and it's good as new.

I have always worn out CC in any wallet I've ever had. I think it has something to do with my tight, muscular gluteus.

I use a paper sleeve from the bank on my cards that way the strip doesn't get worn out. I paper sleeve em then put in my card holder in my wallet. As for a wallet I use a long wallet, maybe like a check book style or cowboy wallet. Gucci of course

I had a problem with cracking them in half and a general dislike of sitting on my wallet.

The strips wear off fast and then the occasional crack as well

I have had a Trayvax for a little over a year that I like. Usually in the cargo pockets of my pants or on the dash board. Cards have held up well.

Hell Bent Holsters in Spicewood. They have two models, I use the kydex one and protects cards really well.

Holy moly... I had okbowhunter make me one from Buffalo. If I recall it was like 60 or 70 bucks. My cards seem to be holding up fine and the wallet is in great condition after probably a year and a half of daily use.

I went to a money clip and couldn't be happier. I keep some cash, my health insurance card and my AMEX.

I used to carry a thick leather wallet and it just about killed me driving all day.

It's amazing what all you can live without.

Same results. I think it's because Trayvax holds them so tight they can't shift and tub against one another.

I switched to this minimalist wallet and love it. I only really use one card and its in the outside pocket and easy to slide out.
https://www.amazon.com/Blocking-Genu...eywords=wallet

I think the problem is when cards rub against each other. Put less crap in your wallet

I’ve been carrying a Saddleback bifold for about 5 years now and have zero problems with card wear. The wallet looks almost just like new plus they have a lifetime guaranty. Previously, i was buying a new wallet every 6 months to a year.

Your wife's name is wallet?? hehehehehe

I digress, I use a money clip, tired of carrying a thick wallet around. It's not just you. I just had my debit card replaced because the plastic covering was shredding off along with the bar code, or whatever it's called, as well. Magnetic strip, that's it! lol

For the guys that carry slim wallets . Where do you keep your hunting license ? It seems too bulky to go inside .

I've had my DM Bullard for 6 years and it's not falling apart one bit. 4 pockets, 2 on the outside, 2 on the inside with a Money clip. 2 credit cards in one pocket, DL and CHL in another, insurance and debit card in the next and hunting license in the last pocket.

Since having this wallet, I've had 4 other friends switch to it as well. Nine of us have had issues with cards wearing out or the wallet. Excellent craftsmanship as usual from DM Bullard. Local Texas small business as well.

I've used this one for about a year... I keep my gift cards and hunting licenses etc in a wallet that never leaves my truck.. I use the above for my edc. Super slim.. holds 8 cards or so. Excellently designed!!
