Default It Took Me 8 Hours but...

I broke in the new Triax.

Got it outta the box this morning at 9. Tinkered and put a cheap little 1 pin sight on it for temporary use. My MBG isnít in yet. Sighted it in at 20 and went hunting. Had a rather large group come in and the left cryiní!

Shot another little tiny one right thru the neck. SHe stumbled off about 20 yards and was leaning on a tree. Thought she was done. Went to get pic of first one and went to tiny one and she was gone. Wtheck?

Oh well

Pig one for 2018

You are a straight-runnin' killer of pork and pork products. When sows tell their piglets about the boogyman, she's telling about you. You're deadlier than smallpox and pigs tremble at the mention of your name. Add in the newest Mathews and you should change your name to Pigkillndude. You sir are a legend in the killing of Sus scrofa.

Tell us about that light set up too... Is that a camera attached and how did you connect it to the stabilizer inlet?

From home, 45 minutes, 40 minutes or 50 minutes depending on the property I choose.

Thatís a Sniper Hog light (30LR), a Tru-glo rail and a Tactacam 4.0 camera. The set up is super sweet because itís all there handy and ready to go to work.

I finally put my hands on one those bows today at Archery Country. I was quite impressed. But my pocket book shrieked in horror. Some day my horse will come in. Or I could just sell one of my kids to the cartel. Don't think that would fly with the wife though.

too early to tell but I'd bet they'll be close. I do like the small frame but the accuracy difference may be the 32 advantage. We shall see.

Nice video FND! Was the draw to the right at the end intentional on your part, or is that a wrist "torque" issue with the bow that you're not used to with the halon?

Post 36 is video from the Tactacam. Itís not great in low light but it lets me go back and see what happened if I need to. Good light equals good video. I like the fact that itís conceniently always right there on the bow and no need for set up. Does have WiFi and thereís a 5.0 version now. Not sure what the difference is though.

I know you kill lots of hogs, do you keep and eat all of them? You get tired of eating pork, or do you just drag em off into the bushes ? Just curious, not hating. I've killed several on my new place and had to leave some due to being alone and not able to load em in the truck. If I killed as many as you I don't think I could keep em all, heck I'd have to buy more freezers!!
