I always answer at least the first time because I get unlisted calls for work constantly but then I block the sketchy ones.
I could sell my blocked number list, its huuuuge!

I get calls like that all the time. With our business, I pay for the caller ID through ATT. Some of the calls actually come up with a name, so I'll answer them and as soon as they start there sales pitch I start questioning them if they are the name on the caller ID, what number they call from, where they're at, basically harassing them until they hang up. That or I continuously interrupt them and try to sell them a duck call or handmade pen.

I just got another text from Jon asking if I'm interested in a cash offer on my house. Calls me by name and states my address.

I have received a couple of these calls as well.

I use nomorobo to stop incoming calls that are from known scam/junk calls.

Last week, I had several calls that my phone identified as "CVS Pharmacy", which we use. The nomorobo app shut these calls down, immediately. I checked the number that called my phone, and it was not CVS.

Somehow, these scammers have figured out how to hijack the identity of the call.

I'll have to check into this.

I wish I could find out whay company they are from. Everytime I ask they hang up. If I could find out I would be calling them constantly and asking stupid questions.
