Was washing windows this week and came across this praying mantis stuck between the metal window frame and the adjacent wood. Was able to slide my knife blade between metal and wood and gradually slide it up to the top and free it. Guess it had crawled in looking for a place to hibernate maybe? About 15 minutes later wife finds one in the front yard that was black/brown/grey camo colored.
