looking at bows need help here

ok im a newbi sort of i wanna get back into bow hunting i use to bow hunt/target shoot when i was a kid, now im interested in getting back into it.

so im looking at mid range bows, looking to spend around 600 for everything i have been looking at all brands of bows, mostly eyeing the Bear strike or Bear charge also the Diamond Rock and the Quest hammer mostly because there in my price range. But im open to any brand i need all the info i can get, i will mostly be hunting hogg.

Welcome back to bow hunting. good luck in your search for the right bow. Don't know if you're interested, but you can also come up with great quality used bows, fully rigged, in the price range you're considering.

your $600 will get you a really good used bow and a pretty good new bow, most brands are personal choice, just like trucks, if folks have good luck with a ford they stick with a ford, just like bows.

Make sure your draw length has been measured correctly and get the correct draw length, this, in my opinion, is the most important in buying a bow.

I'd take $175 for it if you pay the S&H. I just got back into archery after 18 years and bought two bows to see which one fit me the best and have one too many bows now. Take a look.

I have been shooting a Diamond Black Ice for the last three years. I am about to upgrade to the Destroyer, but would still recommend the Black Ice. It is an ultra smooth draw, quiet shooting, low hand shock bow. Check one out if you can.

Any one have the diamond iceman for sale. I have a 2008 guardian and I'm not super happy with the draw on it it's kinda rough, but super fast.

I just called and talked to one of the guys there before I bought. They have wonderful costumer service! My package came with quiver, wb rest, stabilizer, and peep sight. I went with the Bear Game Over 70#. It shoots like a dream compared to my old PSE! Only took 3 days to receive my order. You can google the bow you are interested in for pictures. Hope that helps. They are out of the DFW area.

yeah thats what im doing now, but i whould still have to take it to a shop to get the draw length set ect ???

I shoot a Red head (bass pro brand) Kronik which was built by diamond bows I love it but that me personally and it was 399 for the whole package i tried about 5 bows and picked that one on how it felt to me

I started with a PSE Stinger NI and I thought it was a great bow, you can get a ready to shoot package for $499 I think. I've never read a bad review of the Stinger either, just my opinion.

If you know your draw length they will set it up in shop for you before shipping. Mine was ready to go with minimal sight adjustment.
