Default Traditional FSC Week 17

Simple challenge this week. Pop three balloons from 15 yards, any shooting position. For tie-breaker purposes put small dot on the middle of a piece of paper that will be behind the middle of the first balloon you shoot, so that there will be a distance from spot to measure. Kind of a blind-center spot target acquisition.

Have fun; always cool to pop balloons!

I have the perfect balloons for this.
They are 15"ers.

That's the ticket!

Heck, I've got to go buy some, cause I can't find the ones I thought I had when making this call, LOL.

Bought some nice 12" balloons. Popped all three. Blind First Shot turned out 3-3/4" low and right. Cool to hear em pop, though!

Anyone thinking about shooting this?

Pack of balloons is $1.08 with tax at Dollar Tree.

Come on, CRM, Randy Madden, Geezy, Ken, calling you guys out!
Get back into shooting these, boys and girls. Certainly plenty of room for improvement on mine. It's kinda FUN!

Wife said we have some. Should have time to shoot this evening. Rest of the week is questionable.

Well three shots and three popped balloons. Second shot was bout centered. Third shot a tad high. First shot, you know the one that counts?
3&1/2 low.
Shot with some arrows I'm working with for the future with this bow. They shoot well. Just heavier than my others so I'm learning them.

Then I dropped 3 shots from 19 yards sitting with my old arrows right after.

Shot mine this morning. I forgot to take a start pic!! But, here we go.

I did have to shoot 5 arrows instead of 3. First 2 at the middle balloon were right over the top of it. 3rd one popped it, then one arrow each for the other two.

4. Took me over 8 shots to pop all. Frustratingly fun shooting balloons on a breezy day.

Way to go, Briar!

BTW, Never specified how many arrows to shoot to pop the three balloons!
*Just measure the arrow that pops the balloon with the dot behind.

Hence, CRM leads, with his very nice 1-11/16" shot.

Getting up in 5 hours to head up to Ft. Worth for the Recurve Championship. If no one beats CRM before midnight, it's his call. Call us a good one, CRM!
