                        Burr is right 34 this morning with 70% humidity makes for a cold day on the stand.
                        I did close the deal on a doe this morning will post up some Picts tonight.

                          congrats, not often that you can actually hang game in deep south tx. betting the nilgai aren't any warmer than you'all good luck on the rest of the hunt.

                            The morning started cold 12 foot up in a mesquite tree with 34 degrees in the Rio Grande Valley!

                            This doe came down one of the well used trails that meandered around the tree. At 19 yards I stopped her with a mouth bleat and punched her with a 2 blade rage. She traveled about 90 yards piling up along a sandy wash.

                            Deer carts are a lifesaver on this hunt just as they are other government hunts within a few hours I had her quartered up and on ice.
