Do you have to worry about the oxiclean bleaching out the antlers?

I did a cull buck a couple weeks ago w/ a scoop of Oxy Clean in the boiling water.

I wasn't too concerned w/ the finished product, so I didn't wrap the antlers. Yes the Oxy clean bleached the portion of the antlers that were submerged in the water.
Skull looks good, but I would wrap the antlers tightly if boiling w/ Oxy Clean in the future.
