Default What is your pistol of choice concealed carry?

Like the title says what is your weapon of choice when it comes to a concealed carry and why?

Clock 27 Gen 4. I got it in a trade and with the larger grips, it fits my hand and is still concealable. Also, I shoot it good enough. "If it aint broke…"

I recently switched from a Glock 33 to a M&P Shield 9. I like the fact that it is single stacked, makes it slimmer, lighter and easier to conceal.

I carry a Ruger LCP II when I have to and a Sig 938 when I can. I'm looking hard at the Sig 365, but they are currently made of nonobtainium.

M&P Shield in .45 ACP. I'm also looking at the FN 509 and the CZ P10C. They are a little larger that the Shield due to the magazine capacity, but I'm not too worried about printing. Even though they're 9mm Im starting to think about more boolets downrange. I'm starting to think if I can't take a **** out with 15-17 rounds of 147 gr fodder, then I better learn to run FAST!

I'm also a fan of the Sig938 but because I pocket carry frequently it collects lint under the cocked hammer etc. I'm looking to switch to the striker fired Sig365 if I can find a buyer for the 938

Kimber Pro Carry II. I like the way it feels in my hands. It's not as heavy as my other 1911s. Make sure you invest in a good holster.

Ruger LCP .380 because of the size and weight which makes it easier to conceal. Back pocket carry with an inner-pocket holster.
I’m a big guy, overweight, 6’1” and 275-300lbs. I work outside and sweat a lot, and my clothes fit differently than an “average” size person. I wear bib overalls 90% of the time during the cooler seasons, so no belt to use for waistband carry. I wear blue jeans 90% of the time during warmer/hot weather, and I have a hard enough time keeping them up. LCP is great for back pocket carry in any pants. Feels like carrying a full wallet, and it doesn’t get sweaty in the back pocket. I use a front pocket wallet with 3-4 card slots and a money clip.

Ruger LC9 in the truck in a soft case between the front seats. LC9 also fits in back pocket of overalls, but a little too big for jeans. Can easily be concealed in front pocket if needed.

Not concealed on body, and not a good option for concealed carry, but I also like a Taurus Judge in the truck door loaded with .410 #4’s.

XDS 9 4.0 or XD9 Mod 2 if I feel like I might need more bullets and PT1911 if there's a chance I might have a sounder of pigs try to attack.

Default What is your pistol of choice concealed carry?

Currently Glock 29.

I have plenty that I run a rotation on but the G29 was my original carry pistol and will always see a good bit of carry time.

As to why, well............

A gen 2 Taurus PT111 Millennium Pro 9mm. Mainly because for the longest time it was my only handgun and I got pretty proficient shooting it. It's ugly and people like to bash Taurus, but it is never failed on me and I shoot it well. I built a Glock 19 clone from an 80% lower last year that I like a lot, but it hasn't taken the place of the old Taurus yet.
