Hunted in Fredericsburg for 7 yrs. We killed ALOT of deer and weighed every one.
Average doe 70 lbs.
Biggest doe 90 lbs.
Average buck 90 lbs.
Biggest buck 150 lbs.

To the OP, I killed an 8 a few years ago that was pushing 180-200. He was totally unlike any other deer I saw on the place, 6.5 yr old

The P&Y I shot in Dripping was 135 Field dressed, so that would put him somewhere around 209 live weight. Solid mature hill country deer.

Because he was my biggest buck to date and the hunters who were coming in the next week would have shot him.
