      My guess is that he is a 5 yr old when you shot him and not a day older. Could be way off and I don't know your deer{protein, high fence, etc.). Would like to hear how old he was. Always fun to see how close you are.

              Congrats on a fine, mature buck sir. What did he end up scoring? Did you have anyone age his teeth by chance? I believe Greg, the owner at Shumates taxidermy in Seymour can do that.

                Thanks! Never looked at the teeth. I’ll measure him when I get him back from the taxidermist.
