My good friend Chris Hackworth with Dry Creek Bow Co. is building me another longbow. I ordered it earlier in the summer and the anticipation is pretty high. He KNOWS this, but I haven't bothered him at all. I've been sitting around the house patiently waiting and chewing on my fingernails. Well, I get a text from him Saturday afternoon stating my bow is in the oven and pics are on their way!! I ran around the house like I'd just won the lotto. Went out to the shop and told my current long bow that its services will no longer be needed. I then returned to the house to wait on the pictures. Here is the picture I rec'd.
