He looks like a 3.5 yr old or maybe a rutted down 4.5. I would lean more to a 3.5 yr with those pics.

Thanks, but I'd like to see a side view of the inside of his rear legs to see the extent of the staining.

With these new pics, I don't think he would be any younger than 3yo and he has potential.

Tarsals look to be dripping all the way down his legs. He's older than 3 for sure.

In the first pic, that's what I think I'm seeing but not sure if it may just be an illusion. That's why I was wanting a clear side view of the inside of his hind legs. IMO, this deer is easily 3yo all day long, and probably older (maybe by a few years). I have bucks on camera that are 4yo and older that look just this one at this point of the year. The rutting really takes the weight off of them and they end up looking a lot younger by February every year.
