There are so many different opinions on broadheads so I've decided to just buy 1 brand of broadhead and sight my bow in with that broadhead. It will be 1 that i can get at Academy or Gander Mountain because those are my closest options. Do you agree with this method?

If you have proven results with the one broadhead you choose- Yes I think its a good method. Ill be doing the same (picking one and sticking with it.) Hard to beat the value of the Muzzy three blades- 6 pack from Academy costs $35. And readily available.
That being said, I have no problem carrying multiple broadheads in my quiver.

I think there is a saying, at least I've heard it somewhere. It might not be a saying...
If it ain't broke, don't go mechanical.
Or something like that.
I chose grimm reaper to start off. Flew great, had a problem on my first animal. Not quite enough KE. Went with a good fixed blade (magnus). Killed things with it, saw no need to change it until I started shooting traditional and needed a heavier head. Now shooting Zwickey, so far so good, so I don't plan on changing.
Starting off though, I would do some research. There are some broadheads I would definately stay away from based soley on research. One or two complaints is one thing, when they pile up or are controversial, there are likely still better options out there.
