Lone star Steak House Tavern at 4713 Bellmead. (Northern edge of Waco on Hwy 84.) Biggest steaks and coldest beer! Been there since the 60's but don't let the looks turn you away. We've tried all the steaks places in inner Waco, but always go back to this one. You can order a Tbone the size of a brontosaurus or great chicken fried steak.

For sure Heitmiller...they just opened another location in Waco at hwy 6 and I35 in legends crossing...really good food and great atmosphere.
