took my dad and son fishin!

On lake sam rayburn. lake level was about 10' high but the water looked good. Fish were scattered but managed to catch em. Caught 12 sunday afternoon. 25-30 on monday. Only caught 3 tuesday mornin. Caught most of em on a wacky worm. The othwrs were caught on a tx rigged lizard and a rat l trap. Had a great time. But its gettin hot. Way back in the day I could sit out there from daylite to dark and the heat never bother me. Not anymore!

Back in the day, I used to know just about every stump from Jackson Hill north to where it ran back into the river channel at Marion's Ferry. Haven't been on that like since 75 or 76...

thanks mr c! he sure don't get those good looks from me! we put in at jackson hill and fished the flooded trees along the 147 bridge. used to catch a lot of fish around the deer stand and the canyons. most of my fishin on rayburn happens between harvey creek and jackson hill. first time I've been on rayburn in 12 years!
