That is totally dependant on where you aim! If I miss 4" low on a critter, and he does not react in time, a lot of times that would be a clean miss low for me!

I usually aim at the top of the heart (Main artery area).

If they don't duck, that'll get me heart & lungs.

If they do duck, that'll get me lungs.

And, if I happen to shoot a little high or low due to something I did, I'm still in the boiler room.

Of course, you know as well as I do, it don't always work out exactly as planned, but aiming at that area, seems to give me the largest margin for error, or duckage.

Another good thing about that spot is, it will do damage to the shoulder muscles, which makes it harder for them to travel. That's especially true if you get a pass through, which I usually do.

        Feisty crowd.

Just saying 4 inches ain't bad shooting -- especially at night. And if any animal happens to duck a little, it's still good. Not saying anyone is shooting deer at night ... 'course CRM IS in East Texas.... I kid.

                    & I don't mind that.

BUT, I was talking about this discussion here. The law will be shutting down the Trad side of TBH for collusion with poachers/poaching.

Someone needs to jump in here, shoot the darn square, and turn it in by midnight.
                      I don't want the call.

I've racked my brain all day trying to come up with something new in case my shot holds. So far I'm drawing a blank.

I forfeit my shot. Post midnight. Same dayish and too late. I shot yesterday at Double G around 4:30pm before they closed. Got the RH Blueridge reserved and double nocked. About 1 1/4". Closer to center cut riser is nice.

I look forward to a tp roll of something.
