A friend is wanting to put something on his AR to shoot varmints behind his house. Wont need to shoot any further than 100-150 yards.

What would the best scope for his $200 budget be?

Nikon P223 would get my vote. I found mine for 149.99 on sale. It is clear and tracks very well for a budget scope.
