The dark red kidney beans taste good in chili. No other beans should go in a chili. Both styles taste good to me

1/2 kidney & 1/2 garbanzo is pretty darn good.

Also, made a chili last winter that was hot curry based for the main flavor...... planning to make it again soon

Does anyone use ground Turkey instead of beef/venison? Tried this years ago and I think it's the best bowl of texas red you can make.
