I took a sleeping pill on the way back and it made for a much better flight. I couldn't get comfortable on the way ,but slept 7 hrs on the way back. Much more pleasant. 20 plus hours is a long time to fly.

I would not worry about the scent free soap. If the wind was wrong we would not hunt the blinds. If it changes they would get some dung and burn it and hang it out the window to mask the smell. We were smoking in the blind most of the time. Have fun.

                          Camera:
Get a small Canon with large digital magnification that uses SD Cards.
                          Extra rechargeable batteries.
Use smaller SD Cards and use several of them during the trip instead of 1 large one.
If 1 card goes bad you don't lose the whole trip. Pelican Cases, has a great water and dust proof case that holds 8 SD Cards.

                          Voltage Adaptors:
Remember the device that adapts the foreign Voltage and the adaptors that allow you to plug into the different shaped foreign outlets are different items. You will need both.

                          Flashlights:
Streamlight LED 2 cell flashlight and a Streamlight LED headlamp
Extra Batteries as always, but you won't kneed them if you get the LED lights.

                          Medicine:
Get a Drs prescription for, food poisoning, headache and the runs.
                          Take topical ointments for cuts.
Small bottle of Hydrogen Peroxide to clean your toothbrush or small injuries.

                          CASH:
Take lots of $1 and $5 dollar bills and don't be stingy with them. The people who live there and are helping you have nothing and your small generosity helps them immensely.

                          CLOTHES:
Nothing in the colors black or blue. Mosquitos and flys will swarm on those colors by the hundreds. They will cover your black camera in a heartbeat.
Tan and light green are best and fishing attire works fine.
Baseball cap works well but a safari style hat that shades you all around works best unless you are flying in a bunch of small aircraft.

                          BOOTS:
Low quarter and light weight hiking books work great.

                          PUBLIC TOILETS:
There is no such thing as a clean and completely working Public Toilet. If you are smart you will always carry toilet paper, moist wipes and a spray sanitizer with you when you are travelling.

                          WATER:
Always keep a water bottle with you and never drink any other water even in a hotel, not even to brush your teeth or clean your tooth brush.

                          COUNTERFEIT MONEY:
Don't exchange your small bills for larger ones at the request of people you meet in the community. They have learned to identify counterfeit money, have you?

                          TIPS:
Yes I took nice pocket knives and yes they will appreciate cash more.

Power strip so you can charge all of your devices at once.
Have your doctor prescribe you an antibiotic for overseas travel, in case of cuts, scrapes, illness, etc.
