Had some luck friday afternoon

Jeremy (offroaddodge) and I went to DB ranch in Oatmeal on Friday afternoon to get some pork for the freezers. I was fortunate to get mine early in the afternoon when six came in around at ten till six. He had to wait till just about dark to get his. Both were hit with a Rage and neither went very far at all. (under 50yds).

yes it was fun, I had almost given up on the hunt. I hadnt heard any sounds of piggys all afternoon. It was 6:25 and had put my arrow back n quiver, and started down the ladder when outta the corner of my eye i see 4 piggys coming threw the brush at about 40yrds. The first three came right to feeder offering an 18yrd shot but waited cause i knew the one bringing up the rear was a bit bigger so i waited. His backhalf was blocked by other pigs so i took the shot i wanted (BRDSIDE slightly 1/4 away) and let her fly. Clean pass threw at 23yrds both lungs, saw the arrow in what seemed like slow motion as it hit and exited with lots of blood following. I recently switched to new arrows and this was the first animal to be shot with them, in impressed with them. Piggy went about 30-40 yrds. Thanks for the invite Chris and setting it all up.
