The is a place between Castroville & Hondo at Quehe it think. I use to hog hunt down there and always had a good time. Had some large hogs but wanted a trophy fee on them but you could shoot 4 meat hogs for $200. Just wondering if it was still in business. Might go back if it is.

I have lived in that area my whole life and have never heard of it. But I have never been on a paid hunt either. I know there is a guy that has a place in that area that will buy every hog I catch to put on his place for bowhunters. I cannot remember his name off the top of my head. And it is Quihi. I will ask around. -
I believe his name is Arlen Kruger. He had a few exotics that were on a trophy fee basis. Lots of blackbucks, lots of sheep. Just wondering if he was still around. The place was about 150 acres.Comment
