this might be a long shot but if your hunting in the trinity river or large "creeks" feeding into and their are islands in the middle are they public or private??

No idea about that area. But when I'm in doubt, I call up the game warden in that area and ask. Easier and cheaper to do that instead of finding out the hard way.Comment

My buddies and I hunt around there heading south of the 19 bridge. To my knowledge there are no private islands. Having said that we always keep boots in the water to make sure we are not intruding. When in doubt look for a sign or postsComment
