Our family decided to throw togeather a last minute trip to Colorado for Father’s Day weekend. We have one free day not booked and are considering going on a guided fishing trip. Anybody out there have any good connections to guides? Or recommendations on where to look at? Also if anyone has another suggestion on something to do while we are up there, please let me know! Thanks in advance.

Find the local fly shop and give them a call. I have done this all over the Rockies without getting a bad guide. I would try to find the local shop and avoid Orvis Endorsed outfitters, though that isn’t exactly full proof. Many Orvis endorses outfitters are good dudes.

I go with Ark Anglers out of Pancha Springs every summer. It is a very manageable drive from Canon city. Call them and see if they have any openings. They will get you on fish.Comment
