    How long ???

Do you plan on keeping your current truck? I have had mine for 2 weeks shy of 15 years. I have owned 4 other trucks in my life. A 1979 GMC Heavy Half for 10 years, a 1988 for 3 years, a 1991 for 15 years and a 2000 for 3 years. I plan on keeping my 2003 dodge 2500, 5.9, 4x4 for 5 more years making it 20 years. I have just rolled 141,000 miles and had the front end totally rebuilt for the first time. I have spent a total of 2800.00 on repairs on this truck other than tires and batteries and feel that is not bad for that length of time. It is a clean solid truck and never chipped. I haven`t had a truck payment since 2006 and can`t believe what a new one will cost in 5 years. I never thought I would own a Dodge truck, but this truck has held together better than any of the GM trucks that I owned previously(never owned a ford).

keep it until it literally falls apart, then probably put it back together.

Would have kept this one a few years longer, but it didn't work out for me. Rolled it 3 times. It was a 2003, 5.9.

This ain’t nothing compared to some but I bought a 4x4 Tacoma new in 2009 and it has about 170k on it. I have been vigilant about both routine and preventative maintenance. Other than a few “lease dents” it is in great shape. I’m going for at least 250k

Less than 10k miles per year!

I kept my last truck for 9 years, I reckon I'll keep this one about that long. I'm confident it'll last longer than that but I figure I'm worth a new truck every decade or so.

Have my f250 SD 4x4 long bed since 1999. It has 333,000 miles on it. Still going strong wife made me buy anew truck so I just bought another f250 as above but w ultimate lariat package. This truck is sweet. I see me driving it till they take my DL from me.

My plan now is 300k miles but considering I’m at 261k now, I may bump it to 350k.

                              My original goal was 250k.
