2 more knives - most recents

These are the most recent orders I finished up so here's a few pcs to share. The first (light colored) is a curly maple m.r. hunter 7.5" with dovetail bolsters.

The second was a time consuming 23 pinned exhibition grade ironwood m.r. 8.5" OAL. This one was a blast but definitely took some extra minutes! Just a quick post to share and There's a pic of the pin layout prior to drilling to see how the fun gets started! I love this wood and am considerring making one for myself in weeks to come...I hope.

          I love the curly maple.
          Do you do your sheaths?
          It is nice leatherwork, also.

Thanks, no - I don't do the leatherwork, try to leave that up to the real leather craftsmen...I prefer to have Paul Long, Claude Scott or Larry Parsons make leather sheaths for my blades and Andrew with Armadillo Sheaths for my tacticals - they really are masters at their trade imo! I could certainly whip some out but I knowI haven't perfected leatherwork so they wouldn't be top quality - so I guess, I'd prefer to have those that can design and make them with excellence give it the go and I've enjoyed the relationships too.
