Hungry Egret

Well I tried but at noon the light was way too harsh and my focus was off a bit. But, it almost worked.
This Egret is on the prowl:


Wham! This even caused me to jerk a bit at a distance of about 80 yards.

White is really tough in bright sunlight. Shaky camera work doesn't help. Will try again hopefully a lot closer next time.

Tough under those conditions. Had a good one a couple of years ago but for the little bit of back with blown highlights.
